Terms of Service

Thank you for visiting Historic-Geo.

This service is about war.
War is a content of interest to many, but unfortunately it is frequently a source of ugly controversy.
We urge our users to acknowledge multiple perspectives and strive to accept historical facts.

In order to make it safe for the masses, we have banned any outbursts of nationalism, political or religious insistence here.
Please carefully avoid controversial language when publishing scenarios and when making update requests.
The main idea of the scenario should always be based on historical facts.
Words and description should avoid excessive creativity and should not contain discrimination or prejudice.

The date of the scenario to be published shall be allowed up to 1815, based on the Battle of Waterloo.
The publication of scenarios based on events after 1816 is prohibited.
Modern warfare is too raw and harsh to enjoy it as history.
We have been large numbers of deaths in the war, especially since the machine gun was invented.
The relatives and others involved may still be alive, which could lead to many ugly controversies.

This service is currently available in 23 languages.
We ask that you please act with deep caution so that people in many countries can enjoy every visit.
